Strike a match necklace

Strike a match pendant, a stunning sterling silver burnt match necklace all handmade from eco friendly sterling silver in the UK. This has been stamped with “we ride at dawn” My artistic take on friendship, and how if you need to burn a bridge I will be right beside you.

Fully recycled, this was created from sterling silver scraps; melted down and forged by hand into square wire, then the end is shaped by melting and shaping the metal to create that match look.

This item comes boxed ready to give as a gift or as a special treat for yourself.

The necklace is then completed with a sterling silver chain & a 2″ extension chain.

Please note that these items are hand stamped meaning that I stamp each letter one at a time, so each letter will have varying degrees of depth & unpredictable spacing between them.

The process is very different from traditional engraving, which carves a light groove into the metal. Stamping is a more forceful technique, where each individual letter, number & symbol is stamped by hand, one at a time with a hammer & steel stamp. This is much deeper than engraving.
